Dr. Andy Adams
Clinical Director and Senior Therapist

With over 13 years clinical experience, working with clients in England, Wales, Scotland and Canada! He has worked in both the National Health Service (NHS) and in private practice. He is fully qualified as a HCPC registered (PYL32555) Clinical Psychologist and works with a wide range of mental health issues. He has previously managed a children’s learning disability service and worked in perinatal and adult mental health, child and adolescent mental health, neuropsychology, and older adult mental health.

Dr. Adams has an active interest in trauma therapy (including lots of experience working with emergency services and military personnel), and he offers a range of treatment modalities including Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT). He also uses other psychological modalities as appropriate to help tailor the therapeutic experience for the client if required.
